Lifelong Peekskill Resident Pauline Hunt Dies

Pauline Marie (Frugis) Hunt, 82, of Peekskill died Sept. 15 in the Royal Cape Cod Rehabilitation Center in Buzzards Bay, MA. She was the widow of the late Charles R. Hunt and the daughter of the late Sebastian Frugis and Beatrice (Tritto) Hongach.

Pauline was born in White Plains and was a lifelong resident of Peekskill. She graduated from Peekskill High School in 1955.

Mrs. Hunt was a loving mother and devoted friend who worked at AT&T, Robinson’s Florist, as a medical office assistant and volunteered for the Peekskill Community Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey C. Hunt and his wife Renee of Marion, MA and Gregory P. Hunt and his wife Lisa of Blue Bell, PA; a sister, Georgann Douglas of Fort Worth, TX; and four grandchildren, Evan Hunt and his wife Danielle Hunt-Prague of Waban, MA, Kara Hunt of Denver, CO and Sam Hunt and Madeline Hunt both of Blue Bell, PA. She was the sister of the late Sebastian Frugis.

A funeral Mass will be held at the Assumption Church in Peekskill on Oct. 19, 2019 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at the Assumption Cemetery immediately following the funeral Mass.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
